The current president’s immigration ideals

Former President Donald Trump drastically transformed the US immigration system and had a fairly strict vision regarding how to handle illegal immigration and how to control legal immigration. Donald Trump Jr comments on Biden’s immigration plan

The former President’s son, Donald John Trump Jr, recently commented on Biden’s immigration policies on Fox News. Trump Jr states that the Biden administration is promising almost unlimited benefits to immigrant communities without having enough resources to fulfill them, which could become a burden on taxpayers, that is, the American population.

Trump Jr argues that the number of immigrants arriving at the US borders has increased disproportionately in recent weeks, which is sparking a humanitarian crisis. This is because, in his opinion, the Biden administration created “a policy that says: ‘if you come here we are going to give you free health care’ (…) That’s why their systems are overwhelmed (…) It’s absolutely insane.”

Adding to that, Trump Jr states that former President Trump built a border wall that undoubtedly decreased the number of illegal border crossings, drug trafficking, and human trafficking. He also blames the Biden administration for unprotecting the borders and increasing irregular immigration through permissive policies.
