Poll: Senate Battleground States Support Pathway to Citizenship
Poll: Voters call for immigration reform
A poll conducted between September 17 and 26 in Senate battleground states, which included 1,200 American adults, reveals that there is growing support among the local population for a path to citizenship.
It is important to explain that when we use the term path to citizenship, we are talking about the possibility of the Biden administration enacting, with congressional support, the first immigration reform since 1986, which would open a path to legalization for millions of immigrants residing in the US undocumented.
The Democrats’ path to citizenship is focused primarily on essential foreign workers, the vast majority of whom have resided in North America for a considerable period of time, have built their lives here and are now a pillar for the national economy.
