During this trip, the president assured that the wall prevented a massive outbreak of Coronavirus at the borders and also reduced illegal immigration considerably.

In fact, in a Twitter post, the Trump Team stated: “We prevented a coronavirus catastrophe at the Southern Border”.

The Trump administration plans to build at least 400 miles of border wall by the end of the year, and says this will further protect the southern region of the country.

President Trump argues: “My administration has done more than any administration in the history to secure our southern border. Our border has never been more secure”.

It is very possible that Donald Trump will use the border wall again as a key piece of his presidential campaign to win reelection as President of the US.

Trump wants to continue building the wall for the rest of the year so that he can expose the benefits and positive changes in immigration figures during his term.
