The US to Open Its Doors to Fully Vaccinated Travelers
The US to welcome fully vaccinated travelers
The White House announced last week that it will allow entry of travelers fully vaccinated against COVID-19 beginning November 8, 2021, including nationals from countries that have been banned from entering the US amid the global health crisis.
It is worth clarifying that travelers planning to enter the country by air will be required to present proof of vaccination and also a recent negative Coronavirus test. However, travelers planning to enter the country by land will not be required to present the Coronavirus test, but only the proof of vaccination.
This announcement comes after the White House declared on Tuesday, October 12 that it would relax some of the border restrictions related to the global Coronavirus pandemic.
Clearly, this is great news for travelers from all over the world, especially people from European countries, China, India, Brazil, and more, who have had limited access to the US for more than a year.

Travelers with different vaccines will be admitted as well
After the White House updated the travel policy, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) explained that travelers with mixed doses of COVID-19 vaccines will also be admitted into the US.
In other words, if travelers have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two doses, if applicable), but have received two different types of vaccines, they may also enter the US, provided they meet all other admissibility criteria..
The only eligibility requirement for mixed-dose cases is that the vaccines used must be on the WHO (World Health Organization) or FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved vaccine list.
